You are welcome to leave your Cleaner an “If there is extra time” list on the kitchen counter. Although we can’t guarantee that your Cleaner will have the time to get to the extra items on the list.

Please keep in mind (see above) that we do bill in 15 minute increments. If there is something that you would like for us to consistently do on your service, please message us and we will update your file going forward.

Green cleaning involves using natural and organic products to promote a better environment and a healthier home. Green cleaning solutions don’t contain harsh chemicals and breakdown easily with water.

While most green cleaning products cannot remove all harmful forms of bacteria, Hoosier Maids strives to use the most appropriate methods for each service. In order to protect the environment, we utilize microfiber cloths and pads during our services, rather than paper. Not only is this practice better for the environment, microfiber picks up 99% of bacteria while cotton-based mops only pick up 30%.

If you have a specific cleaner you would prefer us to use, we would be happy to use it. We strive to be as transparent as possible and are happy to answer any questions you have regarding our eco-friendly practices.

It is our goal to give you a consistent outstanding service every time. We do try and send the same cleaners to the same location as much as possible. If you have a new cleaner on the job, rest assured they are screened, been through the training program and have at least 1 year cleaning experience.
Feel free to request the same maid or different ones. Our customer service is eager to hear all feedback. And all feedback is private.

Yes! We love pets. We use many green cleaning products and always look out for our furry friends. If you are worried about a puppy or baby we are happy to use what you feel comfortable with.

We may ask that you put the animal outside or in a bedroom while we clean. Clean time isn’t play time 🙂

– Our Cleaners take their temperature each morning to make sure they are not feeling any signs of illness; if they are feeling sick at all, they will stay at home and may choose to use their Sick Pay if they desire.

Please inform us via phone and email prior to your service if you (or someone in your household) has been experiencing any flu or cold like symptoms, or has been exposed to COVID-19, or has tested positive for COVID-19. If you or your household member have/or are suspected to have COVID-19, if more than 24hrs notice is given, no cancel fee will be charged.

Please have a general plan of how you (and your household) will maintain 6ft social distancing during the cleaning (ie: something like – you will leave or stay in one room during cleaning). This is so we can all rest assured that we will all be practicing social distancing during the cleaning. If you have small children, please also keep them distanced from our Cleaners.
